Royal Hudson Train;
Color pencil and graphite on 11 x 17 inch acid free vellum.
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, I discovered my love of art at a young age and entirely self-taught and have been drawing for over 25 years.
In 1994 until 2004, I provided commissioned artwork for various racing events held in Nova Scotia such as "The British Cycle Supply Atlantic Vintage TT" and "Parts Canada Superbike Races". The sketches consisted of vintage motorcycles, sidecar and superbike riders. My artwork could be found on event advertisement, T-shirts and Rider event awards.
I usually work with graphite pencils, finished images range between 8" x 10" and 11" x14" in size. I draw from photographs, all my work is custom to the individual. I have also completed several commissioned portraits, the most recent was of 13 family members based on map of Newfoundland.
